Prague Pride, one of the biggest cultural events in the Czech Republic aims to support LGBT+ people, mediate their voice in society, commemorate the history and culture of the movement for their equality and enlightenment, and educate against homophobia and transphobia.
You can look forward to more than 150 events including the parade, musical program, workshops, debates, and theatre.
This year’s festival theme will reflect the current situation of LGBT+ people in Central and Eastern Europe. An international conference on human rights will even take place in Prague during the festival. During the second week in August, the Pride Village on the Střelecký island and other festival venues Pride House and Pride Life will be open again.
