The Fringe Festival introduces a mixture of theatre, comedy, music, and entertainment.
Actors from all over the world come to Prague to showcase their art in small Prague theatres. Since 2001 the Prague Fringe Festival offers an opportunity for Czech and international audiences to see English-speaking performances directly in the historic center of the city.
The original festival was created in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947 and to this day remains the largest art festival in the world. Prague's take is known as the “mischievous grandchild” and is loved amongst the performers and audiences for its friendly, happy and intimate atmosphere.
Individual performances focus on visuals and understandability. Performance length: 45 to 60 minutes.
