The Czech photographer Jitka Hanzlová, who has lived in Germany since 1982, focuses on a human, the space and landscapes he occupies. Usually she penetrates her childhood memories, explores her experiences and creates poetic and truthful works. Her photographs reveal the relations between a human and his „habitat“, reflecting how a home and its surroundings can influence human identity.
The exhibition will offer an overview of her oeuvre, including a new photographic series which she has created for the National Gallery Prague.
