Antonio Citterio

Chairs and Faucets

This highly acclaimed Italian designer started his design office in 1972 and graduated in architecture from Milan Polytechnic in 1975. Currently, Citterio works in the industrial design sector with Italian and foreign companies such as Ansorg, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Hackman, Iittala, Hans Grohe, Inda, Pozzi e Ginori, Kartell, Arclinea and Vitra. He received the prestigious Compasso D’oro in 1987 and 1995, and his products are also a part of the permanent collection at both the MoMA in New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.

We chose to put Antonio Citterio’s Febo and Musa chairs for Maxalto in our rooms at The Emblem, and in each bathroom you can find his faucets designed for Hans Grohe.
